Congress party cheats its own workers, how do you expect them to do anything different to the people: Shri Modi
On Monday 8th October 2012 Shri Narendra Modi addressed the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra in Dholka in Ahmedabad district. Despite the scorching heat, a large number of people gathered to support the Yatra and Shri Modi. The Chief Minister thanked the people for the warm welcome and recalled that he shares a very old relation with Dholka.
Commenting on the lies of the Congress Party Shri Modi stated that Congress even misguides its workers when their workers were told that elections would be advanced and candidates will be declared by 15th May and then by 15th August thought nothing of this happened. He asked how could a party that does not spare its own workers in cheating them be expected to do anything different to the people! Shri Modi further said that a mistake can be forgiven but those who cheat cannot be forgiven and this is exactly what the Congress is doing be it their promise to end poverty, bringing prices down in 100 days or jobs for 1 crore people. The Chief Minister spoke about the atmosphere of peace and Sadbhavana over the last 12 years and contrasted it with the time when there used to be frequent curfews and unrest.Shri Modi recalled that more than 11 years ago when there were few takers for the land of farmers of Dholka. Today things are very different and this is the novelty of progress, the Chief Minister affirmed.
He said that very often he has heard people say, “Where does this Modi get the money (for development) from” but the truth is that this money belongs to the people only that now every penny is being spent on development works.
Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra in Kheda District; magnificent welcome for Shri Modi by people!
The blistering heat did not prevent a sea of humanity to welcome Shri Modi as Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra arrived in Kheda District.Shri Modi said that the people could see the Disha and Dasha of the Congress from its 60 year rule. He declared that the Disha of the Congress is to divide and rule whereas the Disha of the BJP is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (All together, growth for all). He further said that had the Congress adopted Sardar Patel’s Disha things would have been different.
Others who spoke during the day include Revenue Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel, Gujarat BJP Resident Shri RC Faldu and National BJP Vice President Shri Purushottam Rupala.
