Prime Minister Modi visited Sri Lanka on a State Visit from 4 – 6 April 2025 at the invitation of President Dissanayake. During the visit, PM Modi held discussions with President Dissanayake and was conferred the 'Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushana.' The leaders also travelled to Anuradhapura to inaugurate development projects implemented with Indian financial assistance.
