Welcome healthy competition, rather than shy away from it, says PM Modi!

PM Modi addressed and interacted with various students, during the Pariskha pe Charcha, 2024. An important topic that the Prime Minister spoke about was peer pressure and competition. PM Modi conveyed that a life without competition would be a life unfulfilled.

An interesting example that PM Modi shared is that if a student has a friend who has achieved 90/100 marks in a particular exam, this does not mean that the student now only has 10 marks left for them to achieve. Instead, they still have the entire 100 marks to aim for. The student should see their friend's performance as an inspiration and partake in healthy competition.

Notably, PM Modi also stressed that parents should not sow the seeds of rivalry amongst their children as there can be repercussions long into a child's adulthood. Instead, siblings should look at each other with inspiration and affection.
