Signing of "SAARC Framework Agreement for Energy Cooperation (Electricity)" among the SAARC Member countries in the forthcoming 18th SAARC Summit

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today gave its approval for signing of "SAARC Framework Agreement for Energy Cooperation (Electricity)" among the SAARC Member States during the forthcoming 18th SAARC Summit scheduled to be held at Kathmandu, Nepal on 26-27 November, 2014.

The Agreement will enable greater cooperation in the power sector among SAARC countries. The Agreement is expected to improve the power availability in the entire SAARC region. It would facilitate integrated operation of the regional power grid.

PM Modi highlights extensive work done in boosting metro connectivity, strengthening urban transport

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the remarkable progress in expanding Metro connectivity across India and its pivotal role in transforming urban transport and improving the ‘Ease of Living’ for millions of citizens.

MyGov posted on X threads about India’s Metro revolution on which PM Modi replied and said;

“Over the last decade, extensive work has been done in boosting metro connectivity, thus strengthening urban transport and enhancing ‘Ease of Living.’ #MetroRevolutionInIndia”
