BJP does not survive at anybody’s mercy, it is built of the sweat and blood of its dedicated workers: Narendra Modi

The more muck you throw at BJP, the more the lotus will shine: Shri Narendra Modi

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi showered immense praise on the party workers of BJP as he inaugurated ‘Atal Bhuvan’, the district headquarters of the Jamnagar BJP. He saluted the energy and determination of the BJP workers, whom Shri Modi said have sacrificed their lives for a strong and united India. He urged the BJP workers not to deviate from the time-tested ideals of service and renunciation.

To those throwing muck on BJP, Shri Modi stated that the more muck these vested interests throw, the more the lotus will shine! Shri Modi declared that the BJP was not born at the mercy of anybody nor did it come into existence because the ancestors of its workers held public office in the past. It came into being due to the sweat and blood of countless dedicated workers and its values of service, renunciation and a desire to serve the country.

Shri Modi lauded the efforts of BJP workers of Jamnagar district for organizing a blood donation camp alongside the inauguration of ‘Atal Bhuvan’. He urged the party workers to devote their mind, body, heart and soul into working for the nation so that the good work that is being done becomes an inspiration all across the nation.

Shri Modi reminded everyone that the BJP is not a party that one inherits but is built on the hard work of a committed and dedicated group of workers. Infact, there are workers who have put the BJP even above their own families and it such sacrifices that have taken the party to new heights. He added that when it comes to the love of the nation, there has been absolutely no compromise by the BJP workers.   Shri Modi gave the example of Kerala where despite not controlling even a Panchayat, BJP workers continue to work among the people. Infact, about 250 workers have lost their life at the hands of Communist cadres still the flame of patriotism inspires the workers to work harder and harder.

When opportunism and money power ruled the roost in Indian politics, Jan Sangh and BJP leaders resisted the lure of money or greed and continued to strengthen the voice of the people despite being in Opposition. Power politics and opportunistic politics are unknown to the DNA of the BJP worker, he said.

Shri Modi recounted those leaders who gave up their life in working for the Jan Sangh and spreading its base across Gujarat and said that these leaders could be an immense source of inspiration for generations to come. This is in stark contrast to those who are using even dishonest means to conspire against Gujarat, particularly so that industries shift to the neighboring state of Maharashtra. He asked the party activists to walk shoulder to shoulder with the people of Gujarat and even enlighten them about this conspiracy.

On the issue of development, Shri Modi said that current the Budget of Gujarat is higher than combined Budgets of the past 50 years. It is due to the love of the people that the Gujarat Government is walking on the path of truth and progress. The BJP Government in Gujarat best illustrates that workers can serve the people despite being in Government, Shri Modi said. In this atmosphere of gloom, Gujarat has emerged as a new ray of hope.

Others present on the occasion included State BJP President Shri RC Faldu, Ministers of State Smt. Vasuben Trivedi, Shri Saurabhbhai Patel, Shri Mohanbhai Kundaria, Shri BH Ghodasara, Shri Purushottam Bhojani, Dr. Drasova, Mayor of Jamnagar Smt. Amiben Parikh, MLAs Shri Meghjibhai Kanjaria, Shri Laljibhai Solanki, Shri Pabubha Manek among other others.
