Earlier, abduction and demand for ransom had ruined the lives of the middle-class and traders. The Yogi Govt has brought the state out of these situations: PM Modi

Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed his first virtual rally in five districts of Uttar Pradesh. These districts are Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Addressing the first virtual rally 'Jan Chaupal', PM Modi said, “People of western UP can never forget that when this region was burning in riots, the then Government was celebrating. There used to be news of exodus of people every day.”

“Five years ago, dabangg and dangai used to run the show in UP. Their words were treated as Government orders. Today, whether UP's farmers, employees, traders or mothers, sisters and daughters, everyone is getting protection and respect. The mafia and goons who considered themselves to be bigger than the law, the BJP government has explained them the meaning of the law,” he added.

Taking a dig at the Samajwadi Party government, The PM asserted, “Witnessing ’Humare kaam aur unke karnaame’ this time also the people of UP are going to give full blessings to the BJP. Infact, our first time voters are openly with BJP.”

Highlighting the commitments fulfilled by his government, PM Modi stated an example of how the BJP government has worked for the poor. He said, “The previous government had built only 73 houses in Gautam Budh Nagar in its 5 years. But Yogi government in the last 5 years has built about 23,000 houses and given them to the urban poor. Think! One side its 73 houses and on the other side it is 23,000 houses. In Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat cities too, in total only 800 houses were built by the previous government during its entire tenure. Whether Yogi ji's government has given houses to more than 33,000 poor people in these three cities.”

Addressing the first virtual rally, he said, “Five years ago, there were news of the migration of people every other day. Abduction and demand for ransom had ruined the lives of the middle-class and traders. The Yogi Government has brought the state out of these situations.”

“The BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh has taught the meaning of the law to the mafias and goons who used to consider themselves above the law. That is why these goons are desperate to come to power anyhow. We are working hard to bring about a change in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, they are looking for an opportunity to seek revenge from you. Seeking revenge is their ideology,” said PM Modi.

The PM also talked about how the previous government had made an alliance with real estate mafias and looted the hard-earned money of thousands of flat buyers of NCR. “Our middle class people had to bear a great loss because of this,” he said.

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi asserted, “On one side there is BJP, which has a clear vision of development, clean, honest and strong leadership. On the other hand, there are "Nakli Samajwadi" who are full of ego, destroying the society, dreaming of getting power at any cost. In the name of vision, they have only protest, anger, resentment.”

The Prime Minister asserted, “We are working hard to bring about a change in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, they are looking for an opportunity to seek revenge from you. Seeking revenge is their ideology. This election, please vote for a better and promising future.”

November 21, 2024

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
