Congress always insulted Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, we honoured him: PM Modi at Hoshangabad rally
As soon as the son of a poor family became the Prime Minister, Congress started spreading rumors that Modi has come, Constitution and democracy would be in danger, says the PM
Addressing a public rally in Hoshangabad, PM Narendra Modi says, BHIM UPI which you use for digital payments, we've named it after Babasaheb Ambedkar
The world is trembling as to what will happen, what trouble will come. For such a world, a strong and powerful India is very important, says PM Modi

Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt appreciation to all those who gathered at the Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh rally upon his arrival. PM Modi paid tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, stating, "The Constitution drafted by Babasaheb is the reason why today, for the third time, I am seeking your blessings to serve. It is because of Babasaheb's Constitution that today, the country's President hails from a tribal family."

“Whether it's his home in Mhow or the various places he lived in within the country and abroad, the BJP government has been fortunate to develop all these places as ‘Panch Teerth’. Otherwise, parties like the Congress have always worked to disrespect Babasaheb. We haven't just confined Babasaheb to thoughts; rather, we have given a new identity to his contribution in modern India. The payment you make through your phone, that BHIM UPI, is named after Babasaheb Ambedkar,” he added.

Hitting out at the Congress party, PM Modi remarked that for many decades after independence, only one family from the Congress party either directly or through remote control governed the country. He said, “As soon as Modi became the Prime Minister, Congress started spreading rumors that the Constitution and democracy are in danger. Now, the royal family of Congress is threatening that if Modi becomes Prime Minister for the third time, the country will be set on fire. They also said it in 2014, 2019 , did something like this happen?...Aag desh mein nahi lagi, aag, jalan unke dilon mein lagi hai…”

Talking about the BJP’s Sankalp Patra and the Congress’s manifesto, PM Modi said, “A while ago, I have elaborated on Modi's guarantees there at the BJP Sankalp Patra release. But look at the situation of the opposition alliance. As many parties there are, there are as many manifestos as possible. If they couldn't even agree on a common manifesto, how will they run the government? Moreover, their individual manifestos are even more dangerous. One manifesto aims to economically bankrupt the country, while another promises to rid India of nuclear weapons.”

Furthermore, he added, “The BJP Sankalp Patra stands before you as Modi's guarantee. Whether in villages or cities, the government will fulfill every poor person's dream of a pakka house- this is Modi's guarantee. The BJP has pledged to build 3 crore new houses in the coming years. Modi guarantees that the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will continue to operate in same manner. Free rations will continue to be provided to the poor for 5 years... this is also Modi's guarantee. Now, the BJP has announced that all elderly citizens above the age of 70 will also be included in the ambit of the Ayushman Bharat scheme.”

PM Modi announced plans for the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in 2025, which will be celebrated as the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh. He said, “Efforts will be accelerated to expand the number of Eklavya Model Schools to reach up to 700. Work is already underway on the PM Janman Yojana with an allocation of 24,000 crores for the upliftment of backward tribes, even among the indigenous population. This initiative will also be expedited during Modi's third term. These efforts will greatly assist in the advancement of our SC-ST-OBC communities in Madhya Pradesh.”

Mocking the Gandhi scion, PM Modi remarked that the Congress ‘Shehzaade’ has announced he will eradicate poverty from the country in one stroke. This statement has surprised the entire nation. The country is wondering where this "royal magician" had been hiding all these years.

Continuing his remark, PM Modi added, 'Fifty years ago, his grandmother made a similar promise to eradicate poverty from the country. For 10 years before 2014, he ran the government remotely. And now, he claims to have found the magic formula. Making such claims is why they have become the subject of ridicule nationwide."

The PM went on to say, "I don't have any personal dreams. Your dream is Modi's resolution. Because all of you, this entire nation, is my family. That's why, today, wide roads are being built on all sides. Modernization of many railway stations is underway here. The number of medical colleges has doubled in the last 10 years. The effort is to ensure you face no difficulties, no inconvenience. But this is just the trailer for now. There is still a lot to do. We have to take the country, Madhya Pradesh, further ahead.”

Wrapping up his speech, the PM called upon every voter in Hoshangabad to endorse the BJP candidate to maintain the trajectory of growth and progress. He extended heartfelt greetings to all, encouraging them to share his best wishes door-to-door.

PM Modi to inaugurate ICA Global Cooperative Conference 2024 on 25th November
November 24, 2024
PM to launch UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025
Theme of the conference, "Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All," aligns with the Indian Government’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate ICA Global Cooperative Conference 2024 and launch the UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025 on 25th November at around 3 PM at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

ICA Global Cooperative Conference and ICA General Assembly is being organised in India for the first time in the 130 year long history of International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), the premier body for the Global Cooperative movement. The Global Conference, hosted by Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), in collaboration with ICA and Government of India, and Indian Cooperatives AMUL and KRIBHCO will be held from 25th to 30th November.

The theme of the conference, "Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All," aligns with the Indian Government’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation). The event will feature discussions, panel sessions, and workshops, addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by cooperatives worldwide in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas such as poverty alleviation, gender equality, and sustainable economic growth.

Prime Minister will launch the UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025, which will focus on the theme, “Cooperatives Build a Better World,” underscoring the transformative role cooperatives play in promoting social inclusion, economic empowerment, and sustainable development. The UN SDGs recognize cooperatives as crucial drivers of sustainable development, particularly in reducing inequality, promoting decent work, and alleviating poverty. The year 2025 will be a global initiative aimed at showcasing the power of cooperative enterprises in addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.

Prime Minister will also launch a commemorative postal stamp, symbolising India’s commitment to the cooperative movement. The stamp showcases a lotus, symbolising peace, strength, resilience, and growth, reflecting the cooperative values of sustainability and community development. The five petals of the lotus represent the five elements of nature (Panchatatva), highlighting cooperatives' commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The design also incorporates sectors like agriculture, dairy, fisheries, consumer cooperatives, and housing, with a drone symbolising the role of modern technology in agriculture.

Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bhutan His Excellency Dasho Tshering Tobgay and Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji His Excellency Manoa Kamikamica and around 3,000 delegates from over 100 countries will also be present.
