Continuing his election campaigning spree, PM Modi addressed public meetings in Chhapra, Samastipur, Motihari and Bagaha today. He said, “It is clear after the first phase polls itself that Nitish Babu will head the next govt in Bihar. The opposition is totally rattled, but I would ask them not to vent their frustration on the people of Bihar.”

“The facilities for which the poor had waited for years, are now at their finger tips, thanks to development initiatives by NDA govt. No one should go hungry, we have opened food reserves in pandemic times,” he said at a public meeting in Chhapra.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi-Akhilesh Yadav partnership ahead of UP polls without taking names, the PM remarked, "He failed in UP, now he has come to Bihar to stand by 'Jungleraj ke Yuvraj'. Bihar has 'double-engine ki sarkar'. On the other hand, there are two 'Yuvaraj' of whom one is from 'jungle raj'.” Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi-Tejashwi Yadav, he said, “NDA defeated 'double-double yuvraj' in UP polls; the 'double-double yuvraj' will meet same fate in Bihar.”

Addressing an election rally, PM Modi asserted, “We have ensured free grains for poor till Chhath puja. No woman should worry about how she will celebrate Chhath puja.” “Mothers, you can prepare for Chhat Puja, your son in Delhi will ensure free ration during festival season,” he added.

With Pakistan acknowledging its role in last year’s terror attack at Pulwama, the Prime Minister said the truth exposed those who indulged in politics around it. He accused opposition of politicising Pulwama attack and demoralising armed forces.

Speaking at a public meeting in Samastipur, the Prime Minister stated, “The huge crowd that I can see today at this rally clearly tells what the result is going to be on the 10th November.”

PM Modi talked about the several central schemes which are benefiting the people of Bihar at large. He said, “The people who have benefited from tap water, cooking gas and health schemes will bless NDA. Farmers never thought that they will get direct benefit transfer from govt but now it's possible. Many in unorganised sectors are now assured of pension after 60 years of age.”

Taking a jibe at the opposition, PM Modi said, “On one side, NDA is committed to democracy, and on the other side is 'Parivar Tantra Gathbandhan'. NDA govt is for 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. No one from the families of Modi or Nitish Babu has reached the corridors of power. Self-serving dynasts treat the state and governance as their personal properties.”

In his third poll rally of the day in Motihari, the Prime Minister said, “Once the next Nitish government is formed, we will design a mechanism to safeguard properties of migrants. NDA has lifted Bihar out of the 'bimaru' bracket of states. NDA government in Bihar is striving to usher in inclusive growth in the state by ensuring basic amenities to its people to set the stage for Aatmanirbhar Bihar.”

Listing developmental schemes undertaken in Bihar, PM Modi shared that the new airports, highways, bridges over rivers, gas-based economy were developed in the state. He remarked that Motihari region could be a center for fresh-water fish cultivation.

Thanking the people of Bihar, PM Modi asserted, “All political pandits were saying that not many people would come out to cast their vote this time due to COVID-19. But people of Bihar broke voter turnout records in the first phase of Bihar Elections 2020 and proved them wrong.”

Campaigning for the second phase of Bihar polls in Bagaha, PM Modi said, “The Atal ji's government had given their right to the Tharu society. Generations of Tharu tribe have played an important role in advancement of the BJP. A network of Eklavya Model School is being developed to enhance the education and skills of tribal youth.”

PM Modi attacked the RJD and the Congress for creating obstacles in the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya. He also said that they had spread rumours after abrogation of Article 370 that there would be arson attacks and rivers of blood would flow in Kashmir. But, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are on a new path of development with peace today.”

in a veiled attack at the opposition, he said, “There is a party that has run Bihar with the help of three medical colleges for decades. The second is the NDA, which is working to open a medical college in every Lok Sabha of Bihar.” He also talked about the benefits of Swamitva Yojana which is to be launched soon in the state of Bihar.

He exuded confidence of a clean sweep in the ongoing Bihar elections and urged everyone to vote for NDA on November 3.

India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. Rising from humble origins, he rose to become a respected economist. He served in various government positions as well, including as Finance Minister, leaving a strong imprint on our economic policy over the years. His interventions in Parliament were also insightful. As our Prime Minister, he made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.

“Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji and I interacted regularly when he was PM and I was the CM of Gujarat. We would have extensive deliberations on various subjects relating to governance. His wisdom and humility were always visible.

In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the family of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, his friends and countless admirers. Om Shanti."
