Speaking to Karnataka BJP Karyakartas, PM Modi today highlighted that the party’s three-point agenda for the state was “development, fast paced development and all round development.” He called for freeing the country’s politics from the Congress culture.

Shri Modi alleged the Congress for spreading lies and not being answerable to people for their works. Comparing the progress of work in infrastructure sector, renewable energy, construction of household toilets, providing LPG connections etc in the last four years, PM Modi said that the BJP led NDA Government was ahead of the UPA on all parameters.

The PM spoke at length about empowering the poor and weaker sections of society. He said India would develop only when we strengthen the hands of the poor and make them self-reliant and that the BJP led NDA Government was committed for their upliftment.

Attacking the opposition, the PM said that they were only involved in dynastic politics, spreading lies and dividing people on the grounds of caste where as the BJP believed in the mantras of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’.

Shri Modi added that as the elections were nearing, Congress was realising they would not win in Karnataka and were spreading lies that the state would see a hung assembly in these elections.

He urged the Karyakartas to enhance their outreach and further developmental works being done by the BJP-led NDA Government at Centre.

Shri Modi also took questions from the Karyakartas on furthering the party’s reach, farmer welfare measures and urban development.
