Meet held to workout preparatory actions for Khelkud-Mahakumbh

In a meet held by Youth and Cultural Activity department to workout preparatory actions for Khelkud-Mahakumbh, Chief Minister Narendra Modi stressed that children and youth in the State should cultivate liking for Indian sport games. He called upon sportspersons in every village, school and college to play with sportsman spirit and break earlier records.

Competitions of about 16 different sport games will be arranged at village, city, taluka and district levels in four categories: (1) male under 16 (2) female under 16 (3) male above 16 (4) female above 16. Competitions for disabled sportspersons will also be held.

Youth and Cultural Activity Minister Fakirbhai Vaghela, Acting chairman of Swarnim Gujarat Celebration Committee I.K.Jadeja, Chief Secretary A.K.Joti and Secretary Bhagyesh Jha was present during the meet.
