As India marks its 74th Independence Day, have a look at a few glimpses from the Red Fort in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from he iconic monument and spoke at length about India's fight against the Covid-19 and making the country self-reliant.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“यस्य कृत्यं न विघ्नन्ति शीतमुष्णं भयं रतिः।
समृद्धिरसमृद्धिर्वा स वै पण्डित उच्यते।।"
The Subhashitam conveys that only the one whose work is not hampered by cold or heat, fear or affection, wealth or poverty is called a knowledgeable person.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
