In the concluding session of the Chintan Shibir-2009, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi express his firm resolves to create a Bank of Wisdom in Gujarat. " In the 21st century, Gujarat is going to climb towards the new heights of development, by bringing about quality and speedy changes," Chief Minister reiterated his commitment. The best ideas, excellent and innovative initiatives are to be synthesized with talent and cutting edge technologies, which is going to form a Bank of Wisdom. In the light of wisdom and knowledge, we seek the inspiring force to achieve our goals, said the C.M. The contemplation offers us insights for the same.Multifold technology addition and enhancement of administrative skills can definitely usher in to immense value addition. And the additional energy can be utilized for the capacity building, which can bring about the desired results. Chief Minister outlined the creative and innovative initiatives adopted by the State Government, be it Jyotigram or the Broadband Connectivity, Gujarat has proved that it can achieve an impossible looking task.
Chief Minister summarized the outcomes of the Chintan Shibirs, " The Chintan Shibirs are not only catalyzing the pace of development but it has also remained instrumental in changing the direction of development. Team Gujarat is going to architect the garden of development and hope. And the whole world would seek insights from it."
Huge success has attended the recent Vibrant Gujarat Investors' Summit; Chief Minister devoted the credit of the success to Team Gujarat. Chief Minister pledged to replicate the success at taluka and district level with the same team spirit-By Team Districts and Taluka Teams-. The SWAGAT on Line redressal programme has been very much successful; Chief Minister expressed his commitment to extend it up to Taluka Level. He asked the heads of district administration to inspire the taluka level administration to play more proactive role. He also inspired the officials to rise above the traditional mindsets of development.
Chief Minister said, " I am a witness to the spirit of service, in the 5.5 Lakh Karmayogies, the strength and dedication of the Karmayogies is going to transform the lives of poorest of the poor and under privileged classes. We do not want the sort of development, which wipes of humanity and human values from us. We disown the development process in which money is everything. We want to inculcate sensitivity in development process, so that we may have satisfaction of realizing the dream. I am sure, Gujarat is going in that direction." Chief Minister asked the delegates of the Shibir to tread the path of Good- Governance to Great Governance.
Chief Secretary Shri D.Rajgopalan gave an assurance that the State Government will integrate the suggestions of the Shibir, and would act upon it.
