PM Narendra Modi delivered the keynote address at the Singapore Fintech Festival. The PM spoke at length how digital technology was ushering in an era of transparency by eliminating corruption. He also highlighted how Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence could help build a whole range of value added services for people.

Package for Promotion of Digital and Cashless Economy

After demonetisation of 500 and 1000 Rupees notes, there has been a rise in the cashless and digital transactions through use of credit/debit cards and mobile phone applications/e-wallets etc. Government has introcuded a package of incentives for promotion of digital and cashless economy.
