Every Person Is Important: PM Modi during Mann Ki Baat

During his Mann Ki Baat, PM Narendra Modi today said that it was because of red beacons a VIP culture had flourished in the country. The PM added, “When we talk about a New India, EPI is important instead of VIP. EPI means – Every Person is Important.” PM Modi urged to utilize the vacations well and undertake new experiences, learn new skills and visit new places. He also spoke at length about summers, BHIM App and India’s rich persity.

India gave the message of good governance, non violence & Satyagraha: PM

While addressing a programme to mark Basava Jayanthi, PM Modi said India’s history is not only about defeat, poverty or colonialism but it gave the message of good governance, non-violence and Satyagraha. He expressed confidence that reformers would emerge from within the Muslim community itself, to put an end to the pain suffered by some Muslim women, because of the practice of “triple talaq.” He urged the Muslim community not to look at this issue through a political lens.

PM Modi inaugurates International Basava Convention

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an event to mark the inauguration of Basava Jayanthi 2017, and Golden Jubilee Celebration of Basava Samithi, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. In the event, PM Modi spoke about India’s rich history of saints & seers who have led the quest for social reform & transformation at various points of time.
