PM Narendra Modi during Mann Ki Baat said that Emergency imposed in June 1975 was the darkest period in India’s democratic history. He spoke at length how rights of people were taken away thousands of people who raised their voice, were jailed. PM Modi also highlighted upon cleanliness, recently concluded third International Day of Yoga, space science and vitality of sports.
