The Central Government is committed to welfare of our army personnel. Since the formation of Government, it has noted and acted upon several demands on the army men including long pending ‘One Rank, One Pension’ scheme for the ex-servicemen. This has directly benefitted the ex-servicemen.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always respected the indomitable courage displayed by our army personnel and initiated several measures to boost the morale of our jawans. Every year, the Prime Minister makes it a point to celebrate Diwali among the jawans who day in and out guard our nation. Last year, Shri Modi initiated a special ‘#Sandesh2Soldiers’ campaign wherein people from across the country sent greetings and wishes for the army personnel.
