Such corrupt Congress in Guj? Never Ever!

Published By : Admin | November 21, 2012 | 15:59 IST

UPA Not a Government of the Aam Admi (common man) but the Government of the Scam Aadmi (Scam persons)!

Despite promises to bring prices down in 100 days of getting elected, common man reeling under price rise!

Gujarat emerges as a model state that has made the common man and woman the focal point of the Government’s programmes

Several of Gujarat’s initiatives lauded internationally and at home

The contrast could not be cleaerer- on one hand a Government neck deep in corruption and mismanagement of the coutnry’s resources while on the other hand Gujarat emerges as the shining beacon of development!

Some of the Scams under the ‘Adarsh’ Congress Misrule –

 Commonwealth games scam  70,000 crore
 Coal scam  186,000 crore
 2G Scam  176,000 Crore
 Rotten Food-grain scam  58,000 crore
Illegal Mining Scam in Goa  10,000 crore

Additionally the Congress Government in Maharashtra was mired in the Adarsh Housing Society Scam in which Ministers and bureaucrats were accused of grabbing apartments in a housing society meant for Kargil War widows.

It is not a government of the aam admi, but it is a government of Scam Admis.

When one looks at this television ad from 2009, one can only laugh in disgust

Despite the tall claims in the Ad, Prices have Increased substantially under Congress Rule –
Increase in Price of Petrol  From Rs. 33 to Rs. 72
Increase inPrice of Diesel  From Rs. 22 to Rs. 52
Increase in Price of LPG Cylinder  From Rs 240 to Rs. 414

A rise in the price of energy commodities results in an increase in the price of all other essential goods as transport costs go up.

If the Congress Advertisement were to be remade today only the Khurshids, Vadras, Kalmadis and Rajas would shown doing a lot of ‘aish.’ The aam admi on the other hand, has been forced to spend his hard-earned cash.

Meanwhile, in Gujarat the aam aadmi is the focal point of the Gujarat government’s programs.

The Government of Gujarat under the leadership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Garib Kalyan Mela program in which the state government has distributed benefits worth Rs.12,500 crore to 85 lakh poor beneficiaries through approximately 1000 Garib Kalyan Melas (GKM).

Schemes like Krishi Mahotsav, Garib Kalyan Mela, Vanbandhu Vikas Yojana, Sagarkhedu VIkas Yojana have delivered positive results.

The Government of Gujarat’s social schemes like Kanya Kelavani, Gunotsav, E-Mamta, Chiranjeevi Yojana are ensuring the overall development of society.

It is not only the Aam Admi who has suffered because of the congress misrule, but India’s image has also taken a hit.

India, which is famous for being the land of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Swami Vivekananda, has now become famous for Kalmadi, Raja, Vadra and a largely mute Prime Minister Dr. Maun Mohan Singh!

Shri Modi aptly states that for the past 8 years, the news that comes from Delhi is only negative news of Central Government’s corruption and inefficiency that has tarnished the country’s image.

The 2G Scam has even been included in Time Magazine’s list of ‘Top 10 abuses of Power.’

Gujarat on the other hand has been a beacon of hope for the entire country.

Global Organizations such as the World Bank, World Health Organization and UNESCO have praised Gujarat’s initiatives. Publications like TIME, Financial Times and thought leaders like Brookings Institute, Cato Institute, KPMG, Legatum Institute and CLSA too have taken notice of the development work being done in Gujarat and have praised various development projects in Gujarat.

At home, ASSOCHAM stated that Gujarat receives the highest share in outstanding private sector investment, both domestic and foreign. For the second consecutive time Gujarat was declared the Best Big State (Overall) in the India Today State of the State Awards 2012. Shri Modi continued to top the list as the Best CM!
