"In the last 14 years they have tried every trick but I tell them....atleast spare the nation: Shri Modi to vested interest groups trying to defame him"
"Today I went to HP & remembered Vikram Batra. When I returned to Ahmedabad I got to know politics had overshadowed this also: Shri Modi addressing 3D rally"
"I would rather leave politics than insult our martyrs and their parents: Shri Modi"

On the evening of 29th April, Shri Narendra Modi addressed the seventh round of the 3D Bharat Vijay rally and spoke to people from various locations across the country. Shri Modi spoke of the Congress’ fear of losing and their desperation to reinstate their misgovernance and ruin the Nation, even as he affirmed of the people’s preference to vote for the good governance model of the BJP and wipe out the destructive paradigm set by the Congress.

Speaking a day before the next phase of voting on 30th April, Shri Modi stated how the Congress and its allies feared their loss and were getting restless on where they would end up after the results were declared. He came down heavily upon the propaganda and vindictive attacks of vested interest groups in defaming Shri Modi, and spoke of how ceaseless efforts were made to slander Shri Modi’s positive work on the fronts of development and good governance. He stated how such tactics of the Congress were reflective of their anxiety revolving around their loss.

From their non-fulfillment of promises to the many strictures passed by the Supreme Court against the Central government, Shri Modi spoke of how the Congress government had neglected the Nation and its people. He cited the Central government’s failure in tackling the problems of price rise and corruption, and stated that knowing about the government’s actions for these issues was the right of every citizen. The fact that India could not shine in the 21st century, despite being rich in natural resources and skilled manpower, was a clear sign of the collapse of the government’s policies. “This government cannot do anything. It can neither inspire nor show light to the people of India. Their agenda is to save their chair while our agenda is to save the nation. They want the chair but we want smiles on your faces,” said Shri Modi.

Shri Modi spoke of the sacrifice of 2 jawans in Kashmir, who lost their lives a couple of days ago while fighting with terrorists, and bowed to their patriotism. He also mentioned of how he had, in his tweet, appreciated the touching letter written by the pilot to the parents of Mukund Vardarajan – one of the jawans. “Every martyr lives on for generations in the hearts and mind of the people of India. Martyrs never die. Shahadat Sada Amar Hoti Hai,” said Shri Modi. He condemned the Congress’ approach of politicizing every aspect, including patriotism and sacrifice, and affirmed that he would never stoop so low. “Today I went to HP & remembered Vikram Batra. When I returned to Ahmedabad I got to know politics had overshadowed this also. Vikram Batra is a son of India. Is it a crime to remember a martyr? Their parents have sacrificed a lot & I bow to them. What sort of a political fever is this that does not allow you to remember the martyrs of India. I would rather leave politics than insult our martyrs and their parents,” said Shri Modi.

Urging the people to vote for the BJP and take the lead in forming a strong and stable government - one that focuses on inclusive growth and good governance – Shri Modi said, “A strong government is where the will of the people matters, where the voice of the people is heard and where the dreams of the people are fulfilled.” He appealed to the people to vote out the destructive politics of the Congress, and said, “Modi winning or winning is not important. I can go home tomorrow & open a tea stall but the nation must not suffer. The doors of Parliament must not open for those who bring bad name to democracy and make it a market place.”
