Gandhinagar, Friday: Representatives of various merchant associations of all the nine Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Gujarat met the Chief Minister Narendra Modi today and expressed their desire to organize convention of trade and industries in Ahmedabad with a view to give impetus to Gujarat's economical growth. They also invited Mr. Modi to inaugurate the convention and share his ideas.
The representatives congratulated the Chief Minister for coming to the helm of Gujarat for the fourth consecutive time and for coming up with a growth-oriented budget. They expressed desire to hold discussions with the state government on various aspects of trade and industries during the meet of regional council, which has been formed jointly by all the nine Chambers. They also acknowledged the state government's positive and encouraging approach for the development of ancillary units particularly of the manufacturing sector.
Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan was also present during the meet.
