Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mega rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan. He began the rally be recalling the famous sweets and namkeen of Bikaner. He acknowledged that for him Bikaner is special as it is also known by the name ‘Choti Kashi’ and like Kashi, Bikaner also has its own history and antiquity.

PM Modi said, “I received the opportunity of inaugurating and laying foundation stones for projects worth Rs. 24,000 crores in Rajasthan.” About the same, a 500 km section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar highway has been inaugurated in the state. PM Modi said, “Unprecedented work has happened over the past 9 years with respect to the road connectivity in Rajasthan, which never happened before”.

PM Modi reiterated, “Development of a state happens only when the Governments at the center and the state work together. In the past 4 years the Congress Government has made sure that the affairs of the state are utterly neglected. Provision of drinking water has been one of the top priorities of the Central Government, but the Congress Government in Rajasthan has prevented the state to avail this benefit depriving its people of adequate drinking water. Even the Congress understands that it has created a sorry state of affairs in the state.”

Taking a jibe at the Congress, PM Modi said, “The Congress is so confident of its defeat in the state of Rajasthan that it has entered the Bye-Bye Mode”. He said, “Congress Rule means the intentions of loot and the box of lies”.

The PM remarked that the brunt of Congress’s maladministration has been borne by the farmers. Congress’s deceit and fake promises of loan-waivers and better price for agricultural output have not been realized despite them being in power for the past 4 years. PM Modi said, “Congress can only ensure unstable governance and that it is only the BJP and the Double Engine Sarkar in the states that can enable a stable and effective Government.”

PM Modi said, “The Congress Party including its Ministers are completely embroiled in corruption and are have simply resorted to open Loot in the state. They are not at all concerned with the welfare of the people and are simply interested in corruption and maladministration.”

PM Modi further added, “The Congress Party resonates with corruption, crime and appeasement and this has been their consistent policy record in any state”.

Along with poor state of affairs in terms of the Governance in the state, Educational prospects have also dwindled, deeply affecting the future generations. PM Modi said, “Paper-leaks and politicization of educational systems in the state has become the norm that is compromising the future of the youth in the state.”

On top of this crimes in the state have increased manifold and women safety has become a matter of concern. To enable self-respect to women and to ensure their empowerment should be a priority for any Government. On this PM Modi said, “The Congress Party will never be forgiven for not providing dignity and self-respect to the women in the state of Rajasthan.”

Congress is a Party that either indulges in corruption when it is in power to destroy the country internally or when it is not in power it indulges in defaming the country externally. PM Modi said, “The leaders of the Congress Party leave no stone unturned to defame India when they go on abroad”.

“Congress even defames our Indian Soldiers at every opportunity,” added PM Modi referring to their remarks on surgical strike and unfulfillment of OROP promises to the ex-servicemen.

PM Modi said, “It is the soldiers of India who have made supreme sacrifices to protect this country. But even here the Congress Party has never supported the cause of the Indian Soldiers. Even in the case of the ‘One Rank One Pension’ the Congress Party only indulged in Politics and Corruption over the issue and the soldiers in the state of Rajasthan are yet to derive the benefit of the same.”

Bikaner also happens to be one of the regions having an International Border. Despite, Bikaner being a region having an International Border the Congress Party has neglected its development even at the cost of compromising national security. PM Modi said, “It is the BJP Government that has taken up the creation of High-Tech Border infrastructure on Mission Mode.” He added. “Only through the Double-Engine Sarkar we can ensure continuity in policy and stability in governance”.

Concluding his speech, PM Modi thanked the people of Bikaner to turn up in such large numbers and said that he believed the people of Rajasthan will support the endeavours of the BJP Government and will vote a ‘Double –Engine Sarkar’ to power in the state of Rajasthan.
