ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ చెన్నైలో అమ్మ టూ వీలర్ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. జయలలిత కు నివాళులు అర్పిస్తూ, ​​మహిళా సాధికారత గురించి ప్రధాని మాట్లాడారు.   మనము ఒక కుటుంబంలో మహిళకి సాధికారతనిచ్చినప్పుడు,మొత్తం కుటుంబానికి సాధికారతనిచ్చినవారమవుతాము. మనము ఒక మహిళకు విద్య కోసం సహాయం చేసినప్పుడు,మొత్తం కుటుంబాన్ని విద్యావంతులు చేసేందుకు కృషిచేసిన వారమవుతాము. మనము తనకు మంచి ఆరోగ్యాన్ని చేకూర్చేటప్పుడు, మొత్తం కుటుంబాన్ని ఆరోగ్యంగా ఉంచిన వారమవుతాము. ఆమె భవిష్యత్ను భద్రపర్చినప్పుడు,మొత్తం ఇంటి యొక్క భవిష్యత్తును భద్రపరిచిన వారమవుతాము." అని అన్నారు.

I am glad to be able to launch one of her dream projects – the Amma Two Wheeler Scheme. I am told that on Amma's 70th birth anniversary, 70 lakh plants will be planted across Tamil Nadu.

We have also made a change in the Factory's Act & suggested to States that they allow women to work in the night shift as well. We have also extended maternity leave from 12 to 26 weeks. Under the PM Awaas Yojana, the registry of the House is done in the name of the woman: PM
