e-NAM is helping farmers sell their produce online at the right price across the entire country: PM ModiWe have introduced PM Fasal Bima Yojana to ensure maximum protection with minimum premium: PMPM Narendra Modi dedicated water supply schemes in Modasa, Gujarat. While addressing a gathering, the PM said, “We have ensured that farmers across Gujarat get water through our various irrigation schemes.”
Shri Modi expounded about Sujalam Sufalam Yojana and said, “Sujalam Sufalam Yojana has helped water reach at the door steps in every village and the farmers of Gujarat are happy.” He also said that through Vatrak Water Supply Scheme, several farmers were being benefitted.
Speaking about influence of Buddhism in Vadnagar, the PM added, “There are thousands of hostels for Buddhist ascetics. They can attract tourists from world over.”
Speaking about e-NAM, the PM said, “e-NAM is helping farmers sell their produce online at the right price across the entire country. More than 400 agriculture markets are associated with e-NAM. Farmer now has a power to sell his stock on a mobile phone through e-NAM. Our government has done this work of connecting the nation.”
He also spoke at length about Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and said, “For the first time we have a fasal bima yojana that gives maximum protection with minimum premium.”
