ఢిల్లీ ఎన్‌సిఆర్ రీజియ‌న్ లో కొత్త‌గా నిర్మించిన రెండు ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే ల‌ను ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ న‌రేంద్ర మోదీ దేశ ప్ర‌జ‌ల‌కు ఆదివారం నాడు అంకితం చేశారు. వీటిలో ఒక‌టోది నిజాముద్దీన్ వంతెన నుండి ఢిల్లీ-యుపి స‌రిహ‌ద్దు వ‌ర‌కు విస్త‌రించి ఉన్నటువంటి ఢిల్లీ-మేరఠ్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే యొక్క ఒక‌టో ద‌శ‌. ఇది 14 దోవ ల‌తో ఉంది. దీనిలో ప్రవేశ నియంత్రణ స‌దుపాయం ఉంది. ఇక రెండో ప్రోజెక్టు ఎన్‌హెచ్ 1 లో కుండ్ లీ నుండి ఎన్‌హెచ్ 2 ప‌ల్ వాల్ వ‌ర‌కు విస్త‌రించి ఉన్న‌టువంటి 135 కిలో మీట‌ర్ల పొడ‌వైన ఈస్ట‌ర్న్ పెరిఫెర‌ల్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే (ఇపిఇ).

ఢిల్లీ-మేరఠ్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే నిర్మాణం పూర్తి అయిందంటే గ‌నుక నేష‌న‌ల్ కేపిట‌ల్ నుండి మేరఠ్ కు మ‌రియు ఉత్త‌ర్ ప్ర‌దేశ్ పశ్చిమ ప్రాంతం లోని అనేక క్షేత్రాల‌కు, ఇంకా ఉత్త‌రాఖండ్ కు ప్ర‌యాణ స‌మ‌యం చెప్పుకోద‌గ్గ స్థాయిలో త‌గ్గిపోగలదు.

ఢిల్లీ-మేరఠ్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే ప్రారంభోత్స‌వం అనంత‌రం, జాతీయ రహదారి త‌నిఖీ కై నూత‌నంగా నిర్మించిన‌ ర‌హ‌దారి పై కొన్ని కిలో మీట‌ర్ల దూరం పాటు ఓపెన్ జీప్ లో ప్ర‌యాణించిన ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి కి ప్ర‌జ‌లు అభినంద‌న‌లు తెలిపారు.

ఈస్ట‌ర్న్ పెరిఫెర‌ల్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే (ఇపిఇ) రెండు లక్ష్యాల‌ను సాధించ‌డంలో తోడ్ప‌డ‌నుంది. వాటిలో ఒకటో లక్ష్యం నేష‌న‌ల్ కేపిట‌ల్ లో వాహ‌నాల రాక‌పోక‌ల‌ ర‌ద్దీని త‌గ్గించ‌డం కాగా, రెండో లక్ష్యం కాలుష్యం బారి నుండి విముక్తి ని క‌ల్పించ‌డం. ఇందుకోసం ఢిల్లీయేతర ప్రాంతాలకు వెళ్లే వాహ‌నాల‌ను దారి మ‌ళ్ళిస్తారు.

ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా బాగ్‌ప‌త్ లో నిర్వ‌హించిన ఒక జ‌నస‌భ లో ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి ప్ర‌సంగిస్తూ, ఢిల్లీ-మేరఠ్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే యావత్తు వ్యాపనం త్వ‌ర‌లో పూర్తి కాగలదన్న విశ్వాసాన్ని వ్య‌క్తం చేశారు. ఈస్ట‌ర్న్ పెరిఫెర‌ల్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే ఢిల్లీ లో వాహ‌నాల ర‌ద్దీని త‌గ్గించ‌డంలో స‌హాయ‌కారి కాగ‌ల‌ద‌ని ఆయ‌న పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్ర‌జ‌ల జీవ‌న ప్ర‌మాణాల‌ను పెంచ‌డంలో ఆధునిక అవ‌స్థాప‌న ఒక ముఖ్యమైనటువంటి పాత్ర‌ను పోషించగలుగుతుంద‌ని ఆయ‌న చెప్పారు. అవ‌స్థాపన నిర్మాణం దిశ‌గా చేప‌డుతున్న చ‌ర్య‌ల‌ను గురించి ఆయ‌న వివ‌రించారు. ఈ చ‌ర్య‌ల‌లో ర‌హ‌దారులు, రైలు మార్గాలు, జ‌ల మార్గాల వంటివి భాగంగా ఉన్నాయి. అవ‌స్థాప‌న అభివృద్ధి వేగంగా సాగుతోందంటూ ఆయ‌న కొన్ని ఉదాహ‌ర‌ణ‌లను ప్రస్తావించారు.

మ‌హిళ‌ల సాధికార‌త రంగంలో- స్వ‌చ్ఛ భార‌త్ అభియాన్ లో భాగంగా మ‌రుగుదొడ్ల నిర్మాణం మ‌రియు ఉజ్జ్వ‌ల యోజ‌న లో భాగంగా ఎల్‌పిజి క‌నెక్ష‌న్ లు- గురించి ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి చెప్పుకొచ్చారు. ఈ ప‌నులు మ‌హిళ‌ల జీవితాల‌ను స‌ర‌ళ‌త‌రం చేస్తున్నాయ‌ని ఆయ‌న అన్నారు. ముద్ర యోజ‌న లో భాగంగా ఇచ్చిన 13 కోట్ల రుణాల‌లో 75 శాతానికి మించి మ‌హిళా న‌వ పారిశ్రామికుల‌కు మంజూర‌య్యాయ‌ని ఆయ‌న తెలిపారు.

షెడ్యూల్డు కులాలు మ‌రియు ఇత‌ర వెనుక‌బ‌డిన కులాల వారి కోసం తీసుకొన్న చ‌ర్య‌ల‌ను కూడా ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి ఏకరువుపెట్టారు.

ఈ సంవ‌త్స‌ర‌పు కేంద్ర బ‌డ్జెటు లో గ్రామీణ అవ‌స్థాప‌న ను మ‌రియు వ్య‌వ‌సాయ అవ‌స్థాప‌న ను బ‌లోపేతం చేయ‌డానికి 14 ల‌క్ష‌ల కోట్ల రూపాయ‌ల‌ తాత్కాలిక మంజూరు జ‌రిగినట్లు ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.

Prime Minister condoles the passing of former Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the passing of former Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani, who tragically lost his life in the recent Ahmedabad air disaster. Shri Modi highlighted Shri Rupani’s distinguished career, recalling his contributions across various roles, including his tenure in the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, as Rajya Sabha MP, Gujarat BJP President, and as a Cabinet Minister in the state government.

In a thread post on X, Shri Modi wrote:

“Met the family of Shri Vijaybhai Rupani Ji.

It is unimaginable that Vijaybhai is not in our midst. I’ve known him for decades. We worked together, shoulder to shoulder, including during some of the most challenging times. Vijaybhai was humble and hardworking, firmly committed to the Party's ideology. Rising up the ranks, he held various responsibilities in the Organisation and went on to serve diligently as Gujarat’s Chief Minister.”

“In every role assigned, he distinguished himself, be it in the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, as Rajya Sabha MP, as Gujarat BJP President and as Cabinet Minister in the state government.”

“Vijaybhai and I also worked extensively when he was Gujarat CM. He ushered in many measures that enhanced Gujarat’s growth trajectory, particularly in boosting ‘Ease of Living.’ Will always cherish the interactions we had. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this hour of grief. Om Shanti.”

“વિજયભાઈ રૂપાણીના પરિવારજનોને મળી સાંત્વના પાઠવી. વિજયભાઈ આપણી વચ્ચે નથી એ વાત મન માનવા તૈયાર નથી. વર્ષોથી મારે તેમની સાથે નાતો રહ્યો છે. કંઈ કેટલાય પડકારજનક સમયમાં અમે ખભે ખભા મિલાવીને કામ કર્યું છે. સરળ અને સાલસ સ્વભાવના વિજયભાઈ ખૂબ મહેનતુ હતા તથા પક્ષની વિચારધારા પ્રત્યે પ્રતિબદ્ધ હતા. એક પાયાના કાર્યકર તરીકે જાહેર જીવનમાં કારકિર્દીની શરૂઆત કરી તેઓ સંગઠનમાં વિવિધ જવાબદારીઓ નિભાવતા નિભાવતા ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી બન્યા હતા.”

“તેઓને સોંપાયેલ દરેક ભૂમિકામાં, તે પછી રાજકોટ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશનમાં હોય કે રાજ્યસભાના સાંસદ તરીકેની હોય, પ્રદેશ ભાજપના પ્રમુખની હોય કે પછી રાજ્ય સરકારમાં કેબિનેટ મંત્રી અને મુખ્યમંત્રી તરીકેની હોય, તેઓએ દરેક વખતે એક અનોખો ચીલો ચાતર્યો હતો.”

“વિજયભાઈ ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી હતા ત્યારે મારે તેમની સાથે ઘનિષ્ઠતાથી કામ કરવાનું થયું હતું. તેઓએ ગુજરાતની વિકાસયાત્રાને આગળ ધપાવવા ઘણા પગલાં હાથ ધર્યાં હતા જેમાં 'ઈઝ ઑફ લિવિંગ' એ નોંધપાત્ર છે. તેઓની સાથે થયેલ મુલાકાતો અને ચર્ચા હંમેશાં યાદ રહેશે.
