The media recently released reports showing how the Congress’ ‘Namdar’ was involved in granting defence deals to his close friends and aides during the UPA’s tenure: PM Modi in Bhadohi
Contrary to the corrupt, self-centred politics of the Congress, the BJP forms a government to serve each and every Indian in whatever way we can: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge rally of supporters in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh today. PM Modi touched upon several crucial issues related to national security, terrorism, political culture in the country and how the country has seen immense transformation under the BJP government since 2014.

Highlighting his government’s success in designating Pakistan-based Masood Azhar as a ‘global terrorist’ at the UN, PM Modi said, “The entire world saw recently how the terrorist responsible for the killings of hundreds of Indians, Masood Azhar has been declared a global terrorist by the UN. It is a great victory for India’s counter-terrorism efforts and shows that we have support from the whole world in this matter. However, the Congress leaders are alleging that Modi government did this deliberately to gain political mileage in the elections. I want to tell them that this habit of viewing everything from the angle of politics and elections has led the Congress to its present condition today where they have lost support from the people.”

PM Modi further launched a scathing attack on the Congress and its leaders for indulging in corruption at the cost of public money and said, “The media recently released reports showing how the Congress’ ‘Namdar’ was involved in granting defence deals to his close friends and aides during the UPA’s tenure. Rather than spending the taxpayer’s money in providing basic services to the poor and the marginalised, the Congress and its leaders were busy filling the coffers of their close acquaintances, thereby decieving the people of this country.”

Describing how the BJP government at the state and Centre level have served the people since 2014, Prime Minister Modi asserted, “Contrary to the corrupt, self-centred politics of the Congress, the BJP forms a government to serve each and every Indian in whatever way we can. While they were busy enriching themselves, we worked to provide universal access of basic services to the poorest communities; on one hand the Opposition ‘Mahamilawat’ parties make policies keeping in mind their votebanks, on the other hand, BJP government works with the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ for inclusive development. This is why the BJP is a party with a difference and it is this difference that has won us the support of millions of Indians since 2014.”
