Ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 sanctioned from PMNRF for those seriously injured in MP twin train derailments

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 2 lakhs each from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the two train derailments in Madhya Pradesh. This is in addition to the relief assistance already announced by the Railways.

An ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 has also been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for those who were seriously injured in the derailments.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the remarkable progress in expanding Metro connectivity across India and its pivotal role in transforming urban transport and improving the ‘Ease of Living’ for millions of citizens.

“Over the last decade, extensive work has been done in boosting metro connectivity, thus strengthening urban transport and enhancing ‘Ease of Living.’ #MetroRevolutionInIndia”
