The Speaker, Lok Sabha, Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, today called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and handed over a cheque for Rs. 14 lakhs on behalf of the officers and staff of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, who have donated a day`s salary for the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted the remarkable progress in expanding Metro connectivity across India and its pivotal role in transforming urban transport and improving the ‘Ease of Living’ for millions of citizens.
