Addressing a large crowd of supporters at the ‘Bharat Vijay rallies’ in Madhepura, Madhubani and Darbhanga, in Bihar, on the afternoon of 24th April, Shri Narendra Modi reinforced the BJP’s emphasis on adapting good governance and ensuring the development of the Nation and its people. Shri Modi also stated how the country had been ruined under the Congress’ rule and appealed to the people to support the NDA alliance for a strong and stable government at the Centre.

From the Congress’ apathy towards working for the people to its divisive and destructive politics that had ruined the Nation, Shri Modi stated how the country had witnessed a never-before-seen-low under the current Central government. From their indifference to farmer suicides to their unconcern for the unemployed youth, Shri Modi cited various aspects of national concern which were never addressed by the Congress.

Shri Modi further emphasized on the BJP’s focus of developing policies for peoples’ welfare and spoke of the initiative to link rivers and provide a feasible Minimum Support Price for the farmers, which could improve their economic condition.

Shri Modi conveyed apologies for reaching the rally venue late, and spoke of how the delay was caused owing to the magnanimity of the people of Varanasi – the city he had visited in the morning to file his nomination papers.

Appreciating the impressive turnout in the past phases of the Polls, Shri Modi spoke of how the voting till now had affirmed the ousted of the Congress, and urged those who were yet to vote to take the lead and vote towards forming a strong and stable government at the Centre. Affirming the wipe out of the Congress and its allies in the 2014 Elections, Shri Modi urged the people, especially the youth, to vote for the NDA alliance and bring the change the Nation deserves.
