భారత వాతావరణ విభాగం (ఐఎండి) 150వ వ్యవస్థాపక దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా నేడు న్యూఢిల్లీలోని భారత్ మండపంలో నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రసంగించారు. ‘ఐఎండి’ సాగించిన ఈ 150 ఏళ్ల ప్ర‌యాణం దేశంలో ఆధునిక శాస్త్ర-సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాల‌ సగర్వ పురోగమనానికి కూడా ప్ర‌తిబింబమని ఆయన అభివర్ణించారు. ఒకటిన్నర శతాబ్దాలుగా కోట్లాది భారతీయులకు సేవలందిస్తున్న ‘ఐఎండి’ ప్రస్థానం భారత శాస్త్రవిజ్ఞాన ప్రగతికి ప్రతీక అని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఇన్నేళ్లుగా ఈ విభాగం సాధించిన విజయాలకు గుర్తుగా స్మారక తపాలాబిళ్లతోపాటు నాణాన్ని కూడా ఇవాళ ఆవిష్కరించామని శ్రీ మోదీ అన్నారు. భారత్‌ స్వాతంత్య్ర శతాబ్ది వేడుకలు నిర్వహించుకునే 2047నాటికి ఈ సంస్థ భవిష్యత్తును విశదీకరించే ‘ఐఎండి దార్శనిక పత్రం-2047’ను కూడా ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆవిష్కరించామని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ఒకటిన్నర శతాబ్దాల ‘ఐఎండి’ మహత్తర ప్రస్థానం సందర్భంగా దేశ పౌరులకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.
