థాయిలాండ్‌లో జరుగుతున్న ఈ సంవాద్ (SAMVAD) కార్యక్రమంలో మీ అందరితో భేటీ కావడం నాకు దక్కిన గౌరవం. థాయిలాండ్‌తోపాటు భారత్, జపాన్ కు చెందిన అనేక మంది ప్రముఖులు, ప్రధాన సంస్థలు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించడంలో పాలుపంచుకొంటున్నాయి. వారు చేస్తున్న ప్రయత్నాలకు గాను వారికి నా అభినందనలు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొంటున్న వారందరికీ నేను నా శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేస్తున్నాను.

స్వచ్ఛ్ భారత్ అభియాన్ ను ప్రారంభించి నేటికి పది సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తి అయిన సందర్భానికి గుర్తుగా ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ దిల్లీలో బడి పిల్లలతో పాటు పరిశుభ్రతా పరిరక్షణ కార్యక్రమంలో పాలుపంచుకొన్నారు. విద్యార్థులతో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ.. స్వచ్ఛత వల్ల కలిగే లాభాలు ఏమిటో చెప్పండంటూ ప్రశ్నించారు. దాని వల్ల జబ్బుల బారిన పడకుండా ఉండవచ్చని ఒక విద్యార్థి జవాబిస్తూ.. స్వచ్ఛమైనటువంటి, ఆరోగ్యకరమైనటువంటి భారతదేశాన్ని తయారు చేసుకోవాలనే అవగాహనను మన ఇరుగు పొరుగులలో వ్యాప్తి చేసేందుకు శ్రద్ధ తీసుకోవాలన్నాడు. మరుగుదొడ్లు లేని కారణంగా వ్యాధులు ప్రబలుతున్నాయని మరో విద్యార్థి చెప్పాడు. చాలా మంది బహిర్భూమికి బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాలను ఎంచుకోక తప్పనిసరైన స్థితి ఇది వరకు ఉండేదని, దీంతో రోగాలు పుట్టల్లా పెరిగాయని, మహిళలు చెప్పరాని అవస్థలు పడ్డారని శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అన్నారు. పాఠశాలల్లో బాలికల కోసం విడిగా మరుగుదొడ్లను నిర్మించడంతో స్వచ్ఛ్ భారత్ అభియాన్ తొలి అడుగులు పడ్డాయని, బడికి వెళ్లడం మానేస్తున్న అమ్మాయిల సంఖ్యగాంధీ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని దేశ ప్రజలకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపిన ప్రధాన మంత్రి
