ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ న‌రేంద్ర మోదీ ఇవాళ వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ సదుపాయం ద్వారా దాదాపు రూ.130 కోట్ల విలువైన మూడు ‘పరమ్ రుద్ర’ సూపర్ కంప్యూటర్లను జాతికి అంకితం చేశారు. ‘నేషనల్ సూపర్‌ కంప్యూటింగ్ మిషన్’ (ఎన్ఎస్ఎం) కింద దేశీయంగా రూపొందించిన ఈ సూపర్‌ కంప్యూటర్లను పుణె, ఢిల్లీ, కోల్‌కతా నగరాల్లో ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. దేశంలో నిర్వహించే అగ్రగామి పరిశోధనలకు ఇవి ఇతోధికంగా తోడ్పడతాయి. దీంతోపాటు వాతావరణం, వాతావరణ మార్పులపై పరిశోధనల కోసం రూపొందించిన ‘హై-పెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ కంప్యూటింగ్ (హెచ్‌పిసి) వ్యవస్థ’ను కూడా ప్రధానమంత్రి ప్రారంభించారు.
