ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ఇవాళ గుజరాత్‌లోని లోథల్‌లోగల జాతీయ సముద్ర వారసత్వ ప్రదేశంలో కొనసాగుతున్న పనులను డ్రోన్‌ సదుపాయంతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా సమీక్షించారు. అనంతరం అక్కడి ప్రజలనుద్దేశించి ప్రసంగిస్తూ- ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు వేగంగా పురోగమించడంపై ఆయన హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. లోగడ ఎర్రకోట బురుజుల నుంచి తాను ప్రకటించిన ‘పంచ ప్రాణ్‌’ మంత్రంలో ‘మన వారసత్వంపై గర్వించడం’ కూడా ఒకటని ప్రధాని ఈ సందర్భంగా గుర్తుచేశారు. మన పూర్వికులు సంక్రమింపజేసిన ఆ వారసత్వ సంపదలో ‘సముద్ర వారసత్వం’ ఒక భాగమని పేర్కొన్నారు. “మనం మరచిన ఇలాంటి గాథలు మన చరిత్రలో అనేకం ఉన్నాయి. అలాగే వాటిని పరిరక్షించి, భవిష్యత్తరాలకు అందించే మార్గం అన్వేషించిన జాడ కూడా లేదు. ఆ చరిత్ర నుంచి మనం ఎంతో నేర్చుకోవచ్చు… అదేవిధంగా సముద్ర వారసత్వంపైనా మనం పెద్దగా చర్చించుకున్న దాఖలాలు లేవు” అని ప్రధాని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ప్రాచీన కాలంలో ప్రపంచంలోని దాదాపు ప్రతి నాగరికతతో భారతదేశానికి విస్తృత వర్తక-వాణిజ్య సంబంధాలు ఉండేవని ప్రధానమంత్రి ప్రముఖంగా ప్రస్తావించారు. అయితే, వేల ఏళ్ల బానిసత్వంతో ఆ సంప్రదాయం విచ్ఛిన్నం కావడమేగాక మన వారసత్వం, సామర్థ్యాలపై ఉదాసీనత పెరిగిందని ఆయన విచారం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
