Addressing a gathering on 350th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj in Punjab, PM Narendra Modi said Guru Gobind Singh ji worked on the mantra of peace, unity and compassion. He said, “Unity of the country was a priority for Guru Gobind Singh ji.” He said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji took the path of bravery and gave a message of fighting cruelty with courage.
