This is the first edition of the Think India Dialogue Series. The aim of the series is to create an agenda for change, based largely on the principles of “Economic Conservatism, Regulated Free Markets and Social Liberalism.” Shri Modi’s talk will be followed by an interactive session with political leaders, business leaders and eminent thinkers.
In an Interview with web based news site Firstpost.com, Mr. Raghav Bahl, who heads the Network 18 group spoke about the idea behind the Think India forum. He also mentioned reasons for inviting Shri Modi as the Keynote speaker and called Shri Modi the Natural Choice for being the Keynote Speaker.
Mr. Bahl pointed, ““We invited Mr. Modi for the first keynote since whatever is the other commentary around him, when it comes to advocating small government, he is perhaps the only politician of any stature who says government should be small. Any other leader of that stature usually bats for big government. Mr. Modi openly advocates a much larger room for private enterprise and government should be just an enabler.”
This event will be LIVE on the website and you can follow @narendramodi_in for real-time Twitter updates.
