Congratulating the people and BJP Karyakartas of Haryana on the Party’s win in the Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Heartfelt gratitude to Haryana! I bow to the people of Haryana for once again giving the Bharatiya Janata Party a clear majority. This is a victory for the politics of development and good governance. I assure the people here that we will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their aspirations.”

The Prime Minister further expressed his congratulations to the dedicated Party workers, acknowledging their tireless efforts and full commitment in achieving the massive victory. He emphasised that their devotion to serving the people of the state and successfully conveying the Party's development agenda played a crucial role in securing this historic win for the BJP in Haryana.

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
