As long as there is a Yogi government, mafias can never harass the people of UP: PM Modi

Leading the BJP charge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a virtual rally in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur, Badaun and Sambhal. “UP tests everyone, but believes those who live up to the expectations. For many years before the Yogi government, people of the state were looking for alternatives, they tested one government after another. But now UP has got the confidence of stability, of continuity,” said the PM.

Talking about the BJP’s UP manifesto, PM Modi said, “Today, UP BJP has issued a ‘Sankalp Patr’ for the next 5 years to realize the aspirations of Uttar Pradesh. I congratulate UP BJP for this Sankalp Patr, which empowers the poor, farmers and youth. These new resolutions are inspired by the achievements of the last 5 years. It also has a continuation of the achievements of the last 5 years. This Sankalp Patr is a roadmap for UP to have a bigger agricultural economy.”
“Before 2017, UP had only witnessed cheating in the name of promises. Today, Badaun is becoming a solar energy hub. Today, Dataganj's solar plant is illuminating a large area,” the PM said.

Highlighting the commitments fulfilled by his government, the PM stated, “Our track record is to create wealth out of waste (Kachre Se Kanchan). Their (Opposition) track record is to convert wealth into waste (Kanchan Se Kachra).”

Hitting out at the opposition, the PM reiterated, “When there was a mafia government in UP, their party workers used to put up their flag on every vacant plot. Not only this, if people from poor, dalit, backward families used to go to other states for livelihood, they used to worry that if someone would forcibly take possession of their house. Now, the central government is giving legal documents to every house in the village through PM SVAMITVA Yojana. UP is doing a commendable job in this. Now that the document is with you, no one will be able to take illegal possession,” PM Modi added.

The Prime Minister asserted that the land mafia was restless because of Yogi ji's bulldozer. He said, “The people of Rampur have been witnessing to this restlessness of those people. As long as there is a Yogi government, this mafia can never harass the people of UP.”

Calling for high voter turnout, PM Modi urged citizens of Uttar Pradesh to come out and vote in large numbers.
