Addressing a massive gathering in Dwarka, West Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the critical role Delhi plays in shaping the nation's political landscape and urged voters to make informed choices in the ongoing elections.

During his speech, PM Modi emphasized the stark differences between the governance models of the BJP and the Congress-led INDI alliance. He underscored the BJP's commitment to fast-paced development and efficient governance, contrasting it with the slow progress and systemic injustice perpetuated by the Congress and its allies.

PM Modi presented a series of statistics to illustrate the transformative impact of BJP's policies compared to Congress' legacy. He highlighted significant achievements in infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and economic growth under the BJP government, showcasing the administration's dedication to serving all sections of society.

Furthermore, PM Modi denounced the communal and casteist agendas of the INDI alliance, accusing them of prioritizing vote-bank politics over the welfare of the nation. He criticized their divisive tactics and highlighted instances of communal violence and corruption under their rule.

He said, “The BJP’s development model says, Nation First. On the other hand, Congress and the INDI alliance’s only agenda is Family First. This INDI alliance is a symbol of every evil that exists in the country today. They are highly communal, casteist, and family-oriented. Our Delhi has been a direct witness to their communalism.”

“It was in this very Delhi that my Sikh brothers and sisters were burned alive with burning tires around their necks. Whose crime was this? Congress. Today, every party standing under the Congress umbrella is guilty of the Sikh riots. It is Modi who is delivering justice to the victims of the Sikh riots. As soon as Modi came to power, an SIT was formed. Hundreds of cases were reopened. The Congress leaders who were roaming freely have been punished by us,” he added.

Speaking about the Congress and INDI alliance’s misrule and caste-based politics, PM Modi said, “Who doesn’t know about the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia Central University in Delhi? For 60 years, it remained a regular educational institution, even there, Dalits, backward classes, and tribals used to get reservations. But in 2011, the Congress government played a trick. Suddenly Jamia Millia University was declared a minority institution. This imposed a 50 percent reservation for Muslims in Jamia Millia University. Earlier, all SC/ST/OBCs used to get reservations in admissions. Now even that has been restricted based on religion.”

“Earlier, the authority of the Minority Educational Institution Commission was limited to colleges. But Congress suddenly included universities as well. Now you tell me. It has been almost a decade and a half, hundreds of admissions have happened, hundreds of recruitments have taken place, but all SC/ST/OBCs are not getting their rights. This is what they want to implement across the country,” he added.

Discarding Congress and INDI alliance’s appeasement and vote bank politics, PM Modi said, “Just today, the Calcutta High Court has given a big slap to this INDI alliance. The court has canceled all OBC certificates issued since 2010. Why? Because they issued unwarranted OBC certificates to Muslims. They have crossed every limit in their obsession with appeasement.”

Highlighting deep-rooted corruption in Congress and the INDI alliance, the Prime Minister said, “Many times, even though speaking thousands of lies, the truth eventually comes out of the Shehzada's mouth. Today, the Shehzada of Congress has accepted a big truth. The Shehzada has admitted that the system established during his grandmother's, father's, and mother's time, was vehemently opposed to Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. This very system of Congress has destroyed many generations of SC-ST-OBC. Today, the Shehzada himself has acknowledged this fact.”

PM Modi also reiterated his government's commitment to transparency and accountability, pledging to root out corruption and ensure justice for all. He emphasized the need for strong governance and urged voters to support BJP candidates in the upcoming elections to strengthen India's development trajectory.

“The Government of India is spending billions of rupees on the connectivity infrastructure in Delhi. The magnificent expressways we are building, and they are not only making travel easier but also helping to reduce the mountains of garbage. You will be amazed to know, that 150,000 metric tons of waste from Okhla and Ghazipur have been used in the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway,” said PM Modi.

The Prime Minister concluded his address by urging voters to participate actively in the electoral process and make their voices heard. He expressed confidence in the BJP's vision for a prosperous and inclusive India and called upon the people of Delhi to support BJP candidates in the upcoming polls.

November 21, 2024
