The strong government of the NDA in 2014 worked to strengthen the national security of our country and as a result India’s repute on the world stage has grown steadily: PM Modi in Maharashtra
Our government drove the country’s development across two paths simultaneously; one, to improve the lives of our people and secondly, to create modern infrastructure for the 21st century India: PM Modi
The people of Maharashtra will no longer support the Congress and its Mahamilawati allies for giving derogatory statements about our armed forces: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two large rallies in Dindori and Nandurbar in Maharashtra today. Addressing the crowd, PM Modi thanked his supporters for their overwhelming support for the BJP in 2014 and asserted that such huge support had made it possible for him to take bold and transformative decisions for the welfare of the country.

Paying his tributes to those killed in a recent terrorist attack in Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Modi reminded people about the similar security situation in India prior to 2014 and said, “The strong government of the NDA in 2014 worked to strengthen the national security of our country and as a result India’s repute on the world stage has grown steadily. With our strong approach towards greater security and zero tolerance towards terrorism, we have given a message to such terrorists and their sympathizers that any attack against India will be responded back in the same coin and hit them where it hurts them the most. The gruesome terrorist attacks that shook Mumbai, Pune and the people of Maharashtra prior to 2014, still remain fresh in the minds of all of us and act as a reminder of the blunders of the Congress by following a soft approach towards national security which facilitated such incidents to happen frequently during Congress rule.”

Describing some of the prominent achievements of his government since 2014, PM Modi said, “Our government drove the country’s development across two paths simultaneously; one, to improve the lives of our people and secondly, to create world-class, modern infrastructure to address the needs of 21st century India. While on one hand, we are ensuring free medical treatment to the poorest people under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana on the other hand, we are striving to build a medical college for every three electoral constituencies in the country to further strengthen the healthcare sector. Similar strides are being made in the highway and road construction sector as well as the MSME sector.”

Concluding his fiery speeches, PM Modi urged his supporters, especially the first time voters to wholeheartedly support the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in order to keep the rapid engine of India’s growth moving. He further lashed out at the Congress and its allies for giving derogatory statements against India’s security forces as well as for its endemic corruption and scams.

PM Modi visits the Indian Arrival Monument
November 21, 2024

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
