Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Churu district of Rajasthan today.

Addressing his huge crowd of supporters, PM Modi recited a poem that he wrote in 2014 during the ‘Vijay Shankhnad Yuva Sangam’ about his commitment to the security and well-being of the people of this country-

Receiving loud applauds from people for these moving lines, PM Modi said that the country is in safe hands and that he belongs to a party for which the country is the most important, much more than the party and the self. PM Modi further reiterated his commitment towards the Armed Forces of the country and highlighted key decisions and initiatives that fulfill this commitment. In this regard, Prime Minister Modi listed out the inauguration of the long-impending ‘National War Memorial’ in New Delhi yesterday as a tribute to martyred soldiers of the country as well as his government’s decision to implement ‘One Rank, One Pension,’ another longtime demand of the Armed Forces as landmark initiatives.

Lashing out at the Congress-ruled state government for failing to implement the Centre’s transformative scheme such as the recently launched PM-KISAN Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Rajasthan due to political differences, PM Modi said, “I urge and request the Congress government in Rajasthan to rise above politics and think about the welfare of its people and implement these schemes in the state as they will greatly empower the poor people of this country.”

Concluding his wide-ranging address to his supporters, Prime Minister Modi urged his supporters to vote for the BJP in large numbers during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections this year and pledge their support for the clean and efficient governance of BJP governments and to ensure that the ongoing upward trajectory of progress in country continues in the years to come.

November 21, 2024

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
