There is clear difference between UPA and NDA- we want to empower the poorest people while they are only hungry for power and money: PM Modi in Jharkhand
The transformation of Jharkhand has become a talking point in the country due to the good governance facilitated by the state and Centre-level BJP governments: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his third public rally for the day in Chaibasa constituency of Jharkhand where he took digs at the Opposition parties for betraying the expectations of the people whenever they come to come to power to grab power and enrich themselves and their allies.

PM Modi took on the Opposition alliance ‘Mahamilwat’ and said, “The Congress and its ‘Mahamilawati’ allies have also accepted by now that Modi government is going to be formed after the Lok Sabha elections which is why they have admitted their defeat after only four phases have been completed. These parties have realized that their divisive and discriminatory agenda of governance no longer resonates with the majority of Indians; the people of today’s India want a stable, strong and transparent government that puts their issues at priority rather than an adulterated mix of opportunistic allies who come together to form a government for their selfish interests.”

Highlighting how the Congress and BJP are starkly different in their priorities and approaches, Prime Minister Modi said, “There is clear difference between UPA and NDA- we want to empower the poorest communities and provide them with access to all basic necessities of life such as shelter, electricity and toilets while they are only hungry for power and money even if that comes at the cost of people’s welfare.”

Speaking about the politics in Jharkhand and the state’s transformation under the BJP government, PM Modi said, “I recently reminded the Congress party about the corruption scandals of their ex-PM and today I want to challenge them that if they want to fight the elections on issues, they do so in the remaining two phases. But since they are bankrupt on issues on which the government can be criticized, they will use their efforts in denying that despite ruling the country for seven decades, Congress party left the country in a dire state in 2014. Since then, the BJP government has been continuously working to revive the nation’s progress and Jharkhand is a shining example of our efforts. The transformation of Jharkhand has become a talking point in the country due to the good governance facilitated by the state and Centre-level BJP governments.”
