No VIP, only EPI (Every Person is Important) in New India

Ever since taking over as Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has emphasised on ending the VIP culture, which has plagued the nation for decades. Through his powerful words and actions, he has shown that all citizens are equal and that there is no room for any differentiation in the country.

PM Modi said that in the New India, it is EPI (Every Person is Important) and not VIP that is the guiding principle.

He elaborated on this during the 50th Raising Day programme of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on 10th March 2019 in Ghaziabad.

A candid PM Modi recalled an incident from the days when he worked with the BJP Organisation and how he cooled down the temper of a party colleague who was checked by the CISF personnel at an airport.

He complimented the CISF personnel and said that despite any pressure, they should do their duty and protect the nation.

PM Modi also said that it is the political leaders who are the biggest hindrances to the CISF personnel doing their duty.

This part of the speech drew a rapturous applause from the audience.

திவ்யாங் (ஊனமுற்றோர்) கலைஞர் தியா கோசாய்க்கு, படைப்பாற்றலின் ஒரு தருணம் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றும் அனுபவமாக மாறியது. அக்டோபர் 29 அன்று பிரதமர் மோடியின் வதோதரா ரோட்ஷோவின் போது, அவர் பிரதமர் மோடி மற்றும் ஸ்பெயின் அரசாங்கத்தின் தலைவரான மாண்புமிகு திரு. பெட்ரோ சான்செஸ் ஆகியோரின் ஓவியங்களை வழங்கினார். இரு தலைவர்களும் அவரது இதயப்பூர்வமான பரிசை தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, அவரை மகிழ்ச்சியில் ஆழ்த்தினார்கள்.

பல வாரங்களுக்குப் பிறகு, நவம்பர் 6 ஆம் தேதி, தியா தனது கலைப்படைப்பைப் பாராட்டி, ஸ்பெயின் ஜனாதிபதி மாண்புமிகு திரு. சான்செஸ் கூட அதை எப்படிப் பாராட்டினார் என்பதைப் பகிர்ந்து கொண்ட கடிதத்தைப் பிரதமர் மோடியிடம் இருந்து பெற்றார். "விக்சித் பாரத்" (வளர்ந்த பாரதம்) அமைப்பதில் இளைஞர்களின் பங்கில் நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்தி, அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் நுண்கலைகளைத் தொடர பிரதமர் மோடி அவரை ஊக்குவித்தார். அவர் தனது தனிப்பட்ட தொடர்பை வெளிப்படுத்தி, அவரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு அன்பான தீபாவளி மற்றும் புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துக்களையும் தெரிவித்தார்.

மகிழ்ச்சியில் திளைத்த தியா, அந்தக் கடிதத்தை தனது பெற்றோரிடம் காட்டினார், அவர்கள் குடும்பத்திற்கு இவ்வளவு பெரிய கௌரவத்தைக் கொண்டு வந்ததற்காக மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தனர். "எங்கள் நாட்டின் சிறிய பகுதியாக இருப்பதில் பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறேன். மோடி ஜி, உங்கள் அன்பையும் ஆசிர்வாதத்தையும் எனக்கு வழங்கியதற்கு நன்றி," என்று கூறிய தியா, பிரதமரின் கடிதம் வாழ்க்கையில் தைரியமான செயல்களைச் செய்ய தன்னை ஆழமாகத் தூண்டியது, மற்றவர்களுக்கும் அவ்வாறு செய்ய அதிகாரம் அளிக்கும் என்று தெரிவித்தார்.

திவ்யாங்களுக்கு (ஊனமுற்றோர்) அதிகாரம் அளிப்பதிலும் அவர்களின் பங்களிப்பை அங்கீகரிப்பதிலும் பிரதமர் மோடியின் இந்தச் செய்கை அவரது உறுதிப்பாட்டை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. சுகம்யா பாரத் அபியான் (இந்தியாவில் அணுகல்தன்மையை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான பிரச்சாரம்) போன்ற பல முயற்சிகள் முதல் தியா போன்ற தனிப்பட்ட தொடர்புகள் வரை, அவர் தொடர்ந்து ஊக்கமளித்து மேம்படுத்துகிறார். இந்த ஒவ்வொரு முயற்சியும் பிரகாசமான எதிர்காலத்தை வடிவமைப்பதில் முக்கியமானது என்பதை நிரூபிக்கிறது.
