If we rely on the systems of older times then that becomes a big burden for us. We may have everything but it is very important that we change wit the times. There also needs to be life in our systems.”

Shri Modi said that for any system to succeed teamwork is absolutely essential. He stated, “When I say Team Gujarat I do not mean the Chief Minister but everyone in the Gujarat Government. Recalling this Shri Modi noted, “We observed that most of the work during Garib Kalyan Melas happened at the Taluka level. Modi ji stressed on the importance of creating strong teams driven by virtues of transparency and a team where the members think together and think coherently. “I do not believe you only need power to make a team work. It is about the kind of leadership one gives,” said Shri Modi. He even called for incorporating technology in the working of government.

Revenue Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel, Forest Minister Shri Ganpatsinh Vasava, Minister of State Smt. Vasuben Trivedi, Chief Secretary Dr. Varesh Sinha and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
