Beginning his address, the Prime Minister said that Uttar Pradesh, in times to come, will change the fortune of India. He said that the state had immense potential to prosper and contribute to the nation.

The PM, lambasting on the Congress party, said that they have always had an “anti-poor mindset” due to which they suffered in the Lok Sabha polls. “A party that was of about 400 MPs was reduced to just 40. Just because of such anti-poor state of mind, they haven’t won in even the civic polls of Madhya Pradesh, Bengaluru and Rajasthan”, the PM said.
