Vijaya Dashami is the festival of victory of truth over falsehood: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke at the Ramlila at Aishbagh in Lucknow on Dussehra. In his speech Modi said, “When we burn Ravana, we should remember that humanity can’t be saved lest we fight terrorism together.” Shri Modi also said, “Women need to be respected and treated right, no matter what religion or one comes from.”

PM Narendra Modi attended Vijaya Dashami celebrations in Aishbagh, Lucknow. Addressing a gathering the PM said that this festival was about victory of good over evil. Shri Modi said that in today’s time the biggest threat to humanity was terrorism. He added that entire world and the believers in humanity have to stand in unison to defeat terrorism. The PM exhorted the countrymen not to discriminate girl child.
