"None other than Swami Vivekananda said the youth will take India to great heights and I believe Swami Vivekananda: Shri Narendra Modi"

Addressing the Yuva Sammelan on “Uniting for India” at Himatnagar in Sabarkantha district on the afternoon of January 25, Shri Narendra Modi spoke about the tremendous potential we as a nation entail, considering the fact that nearly 65 per cent of the population of India was below 35 years of age. “A youthful nation like ours must leave an impact in the entire world,” said Shri Modi, while laying emphasis on the need for skill development. He said that the youth in Gujarat were skilful, and by guiding them and showing them the right direction, we could make them globally competent. Shri Modi also said that the sooner we did this, the better it would be for the Nation, as imparting skill to the youth would also contribute towards strengthening the financial prowess of the country.

Addressing a large crowd, Shri Modi underscored the significance of skilled youth power in the 21st century, and spoke about the policy-driven initiatives of the State Government that focused on ensuring holistic development of the youth.
