Senior Officers of National Defense College met CM

As many as 15 senior defense officers from National Defense College of Delhi met Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi today and had a talk on strategic development success in Gujarat as well on national security.

Chief Minister said that 'Zero Tolerance' is the best way to fight with terrorism and Naxalism. Welfare of the country must be the prime concern, he said.

Chief Minister outlined newer dimensions of the State's development like, ship-building industries, agro based Industries, port-linked sea-coast development strategy and water management along with the State's policy for Defense Equipment Manufacturing.

Shri Modi also talked about the State's effort to provide NCC training and Defense education to the youths of the State.

Chief Secretary Shri A.K.Joti and Principal Secretary to General Administration Department Shri P.N.Raychaudhari were also present on the occasion.

The defense group is in Gujarat for four days as a part of a training programme.
