On 14th January, 2014, Shri Narendra Modi met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan at Circuit House Annexes in Ahmedabad.

Shri Modi exchanged greetings with Salman on the occasion Eid-e-Milad and spoke to him about Gujarat’s all-round development, particularly the State Government’s efforts at promoting tourism in the state. Salman said that he was impressed by Gujarat’s good governance and peoples’ zest for celebrating festivals.

Shri Modi and Salman flew kites on the occasion of Uttarayan and savoured Gujarati delicacy undhiyu.
