The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti Ji.

"In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti Ji was scholarly and humble. His life was a manifestation of selfless human service. He worked to create a compassionate and harmonious society. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers."
