PM pays tribute to Mulayam Singh Yadav on his demise

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of veteran politician Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav. The Prime Minister remarked that Shri Yadav served the people diligently and devoted his life towards popularising the ideals of Loknayak JP and Dr. Lohia. Shri Modi recalled the time when Shri Yadav was the Defence Minister and worked for a stronger India. Recalling his close association with with Shri Yadav, the Prime Minister said that he always looked forward to hearing his views and also shared photographs of their meetings. The Prime Minister expressed deep grief on Shri Yadav’s demise.

In a series of tweets, the Prime Minister tweeted;

“Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji was a remarkable personality. He was widely admired as a humble and grounded leader who was sensitive to people’s problems. He served people diligently and devoted his life towards popularising the ideals of Loknayak JP and Dr. Lohia.”

“Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji distinguished himself in UP and national politics. He was a key soldier for democracy during the Emergency. As Defence Minister, he worked for a stronger India. His Parliamentary interventions were insightful and emphasised on furthering national interest.”

“I had many interactions with Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji when we served as Chief Ministers of our respective states. The close association continued and I always looked forward to hearing his views. His demise pains me. Condolences to his family and lakhs of supporters. Om Shanti.”

    पर्यटन स्थल सिद्धेश्वर मंदिर महाराज खुर्जा मंदिर परिसर के अंदर तालाब का पानी बहुत ज्यादा दूषित होना नगर पालिका द्वारा शौचालय का निर्माण कराना मगर उनके अंदर ताला लगा रहना जिससे श्रद्धालुओं को शौचालय की सुविधा से श्रद्धालुओं को वंचित रखना नगर पालिका द्वारा पेड़ पौधे लगाना मगर उनके अंदर पानी की सुविधा का ना होना जिसके कारण पेड़ पौधे मर रहे हैं तालाब के आसपास गंदगी का जमा होना नगर पालिका द्वारा साफ सफाई की सुविधा ना रखना मंदिर परिषद के अंदर तालाब में दूषित पानी होना जिससे मछलियों का मरना कृपया जल्दी से जल्दी मंदिर परिषद को स्वच्छ बनाने की कृपा करें🙏🙏🙏🙏 https://www.amarujala.com/uttar-pradesh/bulandshahr/bulandshahr-news-bulandshahr-news-gbd1844901145

    केरल के कासरगोड में श्री अनंतपुरा झील में मंदिर की रखवाली करने वाले दिव्य मगरमच्छ "बबिया" नहीं रहे। 😥 ये केरल के मन्दिर की रक्षा करने वाले एक मगरमच्छ थे। उन्हें अश्रुपूरित श्रधांजलि।😥 शाकाहारी बबिया श्री अनंत पद्मनाभ स्वामी का प्रसाद खाकर पिछले 70 वर्षों से मंदिर की झील में रहे और मंदिर की रक्षा करते रहे। अपने आखिरी समय तक मंदिर का प्रसाद खा कर ही मंदिर की सुरक्षा करते रहे। एक तरफ आज राम भक्तों पर गोली और लाठी चलाने वाले और राम के मंदिर में अड़चन डालने वाले की मृत्यु हुई है और दूसरी तरफ एक जानवर होकर भी शाकाहारी रहकर मंदिर का प्रसाद खाकर बबिया मगरमच्छ भगवान के मंदिर की रक्षा करता रहा। बबिया जी आपको सादर श्रद्धांजलि। बेजुबान मगर रामभक्त बबिया मगरमच्छ जो एक जलचर होकर भी भगवान का प्रसाद खाकर ही शाकाहारी था भगवान के मंदिर की रक्षा करने वाला बाबिया सचमुच श्रद्धांजलि का हकदार है। मैं तो बबिया मगरमच्छ को सादर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करता हूँ, उन्हें कोटि-कोटि नमन करता हूँ, जो एक बेजुबान होकर, शाकाहारी रहकर भी मंदिर की रक्षा करते रहे। 🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today went on a safari in Gir, well known as home to the majestic Asiatic Lion.

In separate posts on X, he wrote:

“This morning, on #WorldWildlifeDay, I went on a Safari in Gir, which, as we all know, is home to the majestic Asiatic Lion. Coming to Gir also brings back many memories of the work we collectively did when I was serving as Gujarat CM. In the last many years, collective efforts have ensured that the population of Asiatic Lions is rising steadily. Equally commendable is the role of tribal communities and women from surrounding areas in preserving the habitat of the Asiatic Lion.”
