PM Modi’s subtle poetic banter, challenging the Opposition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an event at inauguration of new terminal building of veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. Lauding the people of India’s support for the Modi Government in 2024, PM Modi said that despite this overwhelming support, the 26 party opposition alliance is trying its best in vain as this alliance is a guarantee of only two things. The first guarantee is of spreading the venom of casteism and the second guarantee is to promote a repertoire of corruption.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
