PM hails Indian contingent as Paris Olympics 2024 concludes

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi hailed the efforts put in by the Indian contingent as the Olympics 2024 held in Paris, France concluded today.

Calling the Indian athletes, heroes, Shri Modi wished them luck for their future endeavours.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"As the Paris #Olympics conclude, I appreciate the efforts of the entire Indian contingent through the games. All the athletes have given their best and every Indian is proud of them. Wishing our sporting heroes the best for their upcoming endeavours."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
